Confused about a house move

My mum has dementia .... owe have moved home but I wanted to keep the old house until the end of a the month so I could take my mum there tonwqrch tv together transition 

The lease on the old house ends end of Jul y

i do not want to lose all her recordings as this helps her dementia

As long as you maintain the Sky Q subscription, the recordings will remain accessible on the main Q box (which you take with you to the new address)

The box does have to be connected to a compatible satellite dish though.

Unfortunately if you give up Sky Q you'll lose everything on the hard drive: this will also happen when Q is no longer a supported platform which is likely to be in the next few years.
