Channels not working but some are

Some of my channels say technical fault

other say no satellite

others are working fine.
A few things haven't recorded as it seems to be the channels that have technical fault etc. I have to keep switching it on and off by the mains. Anyone else having this problem?

im in Reading, Berkshire area.
Thanks

Very peculiar, they resurrected an 18 month old thread for their very first post just to say 'No' 🙂
