Hi, I go into My Sky app and can see the offer of a 4 week free trial for Sky Cinema, i then hit the Find Out More button but it just takes me direct to how much extra it'll cost me per month with nothing to suggest that this cost only starts after the 4 week trial period is over. Any advise? Thanks.

Find out more@Alan1977 I've also had this offer, try accessing your account on the website rather than the app. The trial offer shows for me, and comes up at £0 for the first month and then says it's £6 a month for the next three months. 31 days notice to cancel.

Find out more@Alan1977 Just keep an eye on future billing if you decide to keep it after the trial, often Sky don't update the billing for next month till nearer the time, as my future bill is showing at £12 a month for Cinema, and not £6. But they tend to adjust it, just one to watch.

I took out this offer on Saturday evening which was soon followed by an email confirming that I'd re-contracted for 18 months 😳 been on the phone almost 2hrs and all I'm being told by different departments is that because I took out Sky Cinema I'm automatically re-contracted and there's nothing I can do ! None of this was mentioned anywhere. BEWARE !! 😡

I did this offer, have been charged full amount for 2 and a bit months, rang Sky explained I took this offer and was told this offer didn't exist. Absolutely shocking customer service. Having to pay full amount and another £12 until it's cancelled in 31days.

I took the free trial for sky cinema and cancelled it after 2 weeks in the free trial as didn't want it yet Iv been paid for a full month!
I phoned sky and was told I needed to cancel within 31 days.. I did! I cancelled within 14 days of a FREE trial. Disgusting!!

Thanks for all the reply's, the 4 week trial literally disappeared from my Sky VIP app and for that matter everywhere else so I never got to actually attempt it again, looks like I may have dodged a cannon ball.

The following bill will generate a credit back to the expiry of the sub.
(bills are generated 14 days before billing date and will include all current subs, even during notice period, for the month in advance)

Just to flag on this topic, I got a push notification yesterday offering me another 4 week free trial but when i go into my Sky VIP there is no sign of it and the notification has now disappeared.....no clue how to find it.

I've just been clicking on the link for this and getting nowhere. Glad I read this forum...I don't want to recontract for taking out a trial! Cheers everyone
