Channel 4 app not on mini box

Hi

the Channel 4 app has appeared on my main Sky Q box and 2 of my Sky mini boxes but still has not appeared on my 3rd box. 


I've tried refreshing the apps and restarting the mini box but the app has still not appeared.

 

Any help would be appreciated

Hi @reddude 

First try rebooting your Main Q box and when this is completly back up and running reboot the problem mini.

To reboot press Standby on your Sky Q remote (if the box responds to the remote), and then switch off and unplug at the mains.
Wait at least 30 secs and then Plug back in and switch your Sky Q box back on at the mains.
Wait for the on screen instructions to disappear and the front led to turn Amber. Then wait for 30 secs before you press Home on your Sky Q remote or if this is not working press the standby button on the front of the Q box (Amber led)

note: some features may take up to 5 minutes to return.

Hi

Sorry for delayed response.

It's been a busy few days. 

 

Unfortunately this did not work.

 

I'm think it's probably because this box is connected via ethernet while the other boxes are connected via WiFi network. 

 

It's something I will have to try at a later date as the location is awkward.

Currently have the same problem with the same setup, 1 main Q box, 3 mini boxes which 2 have the app but 1 does not.

Did you manage to get this working?

Hi

 

Yeah after a few weeks then channel 4 app just appeared on my mini box.  It just eventually updated itself.
