I've recently changed broadband provider from sky to bt. My Q box is hard wired to router and 3 mini-boxes. I've succesfully wired in the boxes using bt router and all tv services are working.
The problem I have is that the network name showing withing the sky Q box / mini-boxes is coming up still as the ild sky router name. When I try connecting other devises to the various sky boxes it doesn't like the various passwords I am trying to (the new bt one and the old sky one), I'm just getting the message "the network is temporarily unavailable. try later"

hi @Pugsley1
do not worry over the SKY Q box showing a SKY network neme - it will be th eone the Main box uses to connect to the minis.
You cannot connect to the SKY wifi that it generates.
You will need to use the BT (or EE) network and password
Although most reports say it doesn't often help you could try setting to enable the SKY Q to act as Hotspots for your home network:
Home - Settings - Network - Advanced settings - Wifi hotspots (main box setting only - on/off for all boxes)

Re: Changing Network Name with Q Box
Hi @Pugsley1 If everything works, you can safely ignore the Network name. It has never worked since day one over ten year's ago. For example, mine says BTHub6-S7JX. I stopped using BT and their router over 4 years ago!
