Cant connect sky q to wifi

Hi, i lost my internet connection last night and now i cannot connect my sky q box to my wifi. Ive reset my skyq box and my router several times and still says cannot connect. All other devices in the house still connect with no problems. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers Carl

Hi @CarlDutton 

Assume this is your main Q box.

Have you tried a Network Reset found in Q box Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to connect by WiFi to your router.
If you are on Sky broadband you will be asked to press the WPS button on the Sky router. (Not on the Q box as the Network reset will start the main Q box WPS automatically). Make sure you press the WPS button on the Sky router and not the reset button.
if you are on 3rd party (non Sky ) broadband then you need to enter the SSID and password for the router 2.4 Ghz WiFi band.

I originally reset the network today but this option no longer appears in the menu

You still have choices in Network to Connect to WiFi.

Who is your Broadband supplier?

Hi @oldfella im with sky broadband. I have the option to connect to sky broadband wifi, then press and hold the wps button on router. This just searches for about 2 minutes then says cant connect. The wps button flashes red on the router

OK @CarlDutton 

Is the WPS led flashing on the Main Q box before you press the WPS button on your router?

Also are you sure that you are pressing the Sky router WPS and not the reset button?

@oldfella, yes the sky qbox is flashing before i press the router wps (button with 2 curved arrows on). Im sure the problem must be with the sky q box
