Cannot download brookside on demand any more

I have been downloading Brookside every week since it was first available. Now it wont on Demand record the latest episodes.  Any idea what is wrong.  Ir I try to record the red recording life is on for ages ypu can't get rid of unless you cancel the recording it allow you to watch.  It is only since  this week last week we were on series17 now it is series 19 this is on STV

Was series and episode number are you having issues with ?

If you are using on demand you are downloading not recording.

I've got the exact same problem. Series 11 episode 35. I also tried series 11 episode 36, series 12 episode 1 and the very first episode. They all say they have downloaded 103% and have to be cancelled. I tried Biker Grove and that worked fine. Other shows also work. Just seems to be Brookside.

Hello Thanks for getting back to me.  Now  hope this all makes,sense. I can them all on my phone with STV app.  However I am in my late 70s so would  rather   watch on tv.

They seem to keep messing about with the episode numbers .  The last episode was I think  S17E43.  When I tried to download them today there was a Series 18 and 19.   The last episode on Series 18 included the last one I saw. So it is the 4 episodes on series 19 which I cant download.  So Series,19 E1 to E4.  Hope this makes sense  thanks

Looks like you have the same problem as me. Hope we can sort it out.

Yes, seems to be just that show. Hopefully they will sort it. If you go in the menu and go down to apps, there is an stv app which if you open and make a free account you should be able to stream from there to you TV instead of your phone. I downloaded it to my TV and was able to stream.

Must be an issue with STV player I guess then, possibly with soaps as they get updated each week possibly.

Been downloading Brookside for some time now but when I try to download more episodes- it says download failed! Anyone else having this problem?

Exact same problem. Infuriating after watching 650 or so episodes. Im now stuck in limbo. Sort it out Sky. Downloads go to 103% and stick. No option to play. Arrrrgh!

Yes, looks like a few people are having this issue. Hopefully they will sort it next week.

If you go to apps, find the STV one and create an account you can stream episodes from there. I do prefer to download them though and it should just work.

Yes. Much prefer to download them than watch through the STV app.
