Cannot access on demand

I'm unable to access on demand for my new sky q service. I have tried all the online suggestions and reset the box completely but tells me I need to upgrade although I should have access already!

I think you may possibly be  experiencing a problem that some  new users seem to get.

As the default download quality is set to HD (high Definition) not SD then when you try to download and watch you are prompted to upgrade (i.e. take out the HD subscription)

If this is the case you, probably, just need to change your download preference to SD
Main Menu -> Settings -> Setup -> Preferences

(Please note this setting can only be set on the Main box)

 

If you have the HD add on or this does not sort your problem please advise so we can escalate to SKY
