Thought I'd check if any updates & tried it again after seeing it seemed to be working and it does !!!

Same here,   got SkyQ installed yesterday with free sky Cinema trial which supposedly comes with Paramount+ and just constantly get MYSKY_2008 error and none of the suggestions appear to work.

 

Searching the forums it seems like a never ending loop of talking to SKY & Paramount and not getting anywhere,  one thread did suddenly report it started working for everyone but they don't know why/what changed

 

Not seen a single comment from SKY though which is a shame,   Guess this will be the decider if I keep the cinema package if they can't even get an advertised feature of the package not working.

Same here. I contacted sky and they ran me through all the steps I had seen in another chat. That was it. Not heard anything since and they still don't work. No comments from sky here either.

Hello All, just received a reply from Sky Customer Service as follows:

 

Be informed, Paramount+ and LIONSGATE is a free subscription given to all the Sky Customers with free of cost.

 

As you are not billed for this services, there will be no compensation for the issue.

 

If you are unhappy to have Sky Cinema without Paramount+, you can reply to my email with the confirmation to remove the subscription.

 

Further as informed, it is a known on going issue where few customers are unable to sign in to these services.

 

Support teams are aware, and they are investigating.

Finally, Sky seem to have fixed my issues with accessing Paramount+.

 

There was no notification from Sky, I happened to try the access and it worked.

Been trying to access since last week and still error code "MYSKY_2998"

Same problem here, get  a MYSKY_2008 error code for both Paramount + and Discovery +.  Paramount customer service say that because I seem to have two sky accounts, they can't access sky marketplace which is where these channels are initiated. All thoughts welcome. 
I've spoken at length to sky but they can't seem to disable or delete the second account. Not sure why I ever had more than one.
