I cancelled my sky HD subscription a week ago and now I can't watch most channels as they say HD, bbc itv channel 4, can you not watch these in SD

Hi @Kev7419 

You should be able to watch the 'Freesat' channels in HD - although I think you may not be able to download and watch HD versions of some of them (C4 & C5 I think)  

If you haven't already done so I suggest you change your default download quality to SD

just need to change your download preference to SD
Main Menu -> Settings -> Setup -> Preferences

THe BBC is switching BBC1 over to HD completely & may remove the SD version soon but others should also be available in SD - look for channels in the 800s

Some channels are free to air in HD.

Some channels on Sky Q are available in HD at no extra cost, to all customers with the box. These include:

• BBC One / Two / Three HD
• ITV 1,2,3,4 HD (It used to be just ITV1, but the rest recently went free-to-air)
• STV HD
• Channel 4 HD (But not its ‘sister’ channels like E4 HD and Film4 HD)
• Channel 5 HD
• BBC News HD
• … And more
