Cancel tv packages

I have endlessly tried to get through to someone but keep getting told it's not possible. I reach a call centre in India and they are of no help. I just want to pay the early termination fee and be out of this utter mess of a company. £110 a month for a tv I don't watch. A sports package I never asked for and am being charged for. It's a disgrace. Can anyone help please. HOW DO I CANCEL MY TV PACKAGE!?!?

Sounds like you are subject to a minimum term - you cannot cancel unless Sky agree to it.

@Shea96 What the advisers have told you is correct, If you're currently in contract for Sky Q, you can't cancel.

Re: Cancel tv packages

I just tried to cancel my TV package as I am moving home shortly and want to break away from Sky. I was told I cannot cancel but can pay £15 a month for the Sky Q box with "Free To Air" chanels. I offered to pay up my contract but was told this is not possible. I have to remove the Sky Q box and take it with me to my new property! Then return it to Sky when the contract is finished. I am not sure if the prices increase that you could then break the contract?

Nope - not for TV contracts.

You have to see out the minimum term unless Sky agrees to release you (unlikely).

Yeah you get the hassle of moving the box I'm afraid

You might as well do the home move thing unless you really don't want a dish on the new place.
