Whilst watching press pause or the up or down arrows on the SKY remote, this brings up an info overlay
Press the up arrow to take you to the line that has a backward pointing circular arrow, a speech bubble (the subtitle icon) & a loudspeaker icon.
You should now see the icons with labels - press right to highlight the subtitles & press enter
Press Enter to toggle on/off then press the play/pause button to resume
