Can SKY Q work only on Wi-Fi?

Hi,

I'm sure this has been asked before, but can't find the post.

Want to move my TV/SKY Q box to a different location in the same and don't want to run the satalitte cable to the new location.

Can SKY Q work only on WiFi only?

Any other suggestions if not?

Thanks

Hi @Helsop

Afraid the main Q box needs connecting to the twin cables from the dish.

Edit.
One option is keep the main Q box connected to the dish at its current location and use a Sky Q mini at the new location which should work on WiFiif it is range.

You need the Sky Q Monthly Multiscreen to use a mini and bear in mind that minis are not UHD capable.
