Can I use WiFi whilst scaffolding up

I have scaffolding up and I have managed to watch apps etc on WiFi but it has stopped working

Sky Q needs to use the satellite connection on a random basis to check your account, if it can't then it stops all reception 

I am just another Sky customer!
