Whilst outside today I noticed one of the cables has come loose from the LNB up on the satellite dish. It is hanging down.
My Sky Q seems to be working fine for recording etc and all channels working.
Signal strength 60
Signal quality 90
Without ladders I'm not sure which cable has disconnected so may have to call out an engineer.
Some of my channels particularly Sky Sports HD do seem a bit grainy could the loose cable potentially be a cause of poorer picture quality?

hi @Domhow
SKy Q needs 2 cables to fully work (from a standard dish) - one cable carries the horizontal Polarised channels and the other the vertical ones - so if one was disconnected you are likely to totally loose around half the channels (& not just be pixellated)
BTW the signal Quality indicator on SKY Q is not always that helpful as it only shows one fixed transponder set in an engineer's menu rather than the channel you are tryiong to watch.
Did you have a freesat or 2nd box previously ?

From what I can see there are 6 cables that should be terminated into the LNB one of them is disconnected and hanging down.

I used to have Sky + multi room with 2 cables into the lounge and 2 into the master bedroom.

I think the stray cable will be one that used to go the other room
