I'm getting a broken signal on all channels: intermittent but when it's bad it's heavily pixelated and the sound goes. Getting it on the main Sky Q and the one mini box. It's almost as if we were in the middle of a heavy thunderstorm, but the overhead conditions are perfect: cloudless etc.

Whenever a “no satellite signal” message is displayed, that relates to your Sky Q box, so firstly check that the connections from the Sky dish going into the back of your Sky Q box are still finger tight. Also check out the troubleshooting on this link

It may then give you the opportunity to arrange an engineer to check the alignment of your dish.
A misalignment is not necessarily something that will be visible to the naked eye and could only affect one or two channels. If you’re on a communal dish you may initially need to liaise with your landlord or building management company.

No error messages and this is an entirely new issue: I've had Sky for years and never come across this. Everything was working fine up until I switched on at lunch time. Will check connections, etc. I was just wondering if anyone else was experiencing signal issues.

Such issues are almost always a local issue (cables/alignment/LNB) - the forum would be awash if there was an actual satellite 'failure'.
