Box set episodes all near end of recording when I start?

I have ComedyCentral's Friends on series link, and will often sit there and watch three or four recordings in one sitting.

However, in the last week or so, every time one episode ends and I bring up the banner to start the next episode, that next episode will start at the exact same spot near the end of the recording (approx 22 minutes in to the 33 minute allocated slot).

It's no real hardship having to scrub back to the beginning, but why is it doing this?
