Blinking Picture

When I turn on the box after a few minutes the picture blinks, if is also doing it when I'm on the TV guide and when I watch recordings. I have a new box and the HDMI cable is new. 

i have been turning off the box at the plug and it seems to work for a while then it happens again. Sometimes it happens well into the day when the box has been on for a while.

Hi @Simmo69   Whatt is the length and specification of the HDMI lead?

The box was new and it's the cable that came in the box with it.

@Simmo69  Have you tried another HDMI cable and/or a different HDMI input on the TV?

I originally used my old HDMI cable from my old box when my new box came. The blinking started around 3 weeks later. I rang sky on Wednesday telling them what happened and they said if an engineer came out he would check the cables so I decided to change the old HDMI cable with the new one from sky. The blinking stated again this morning. I have now reset the box to see if it's that.
