Blank screen for sky q box

I've just bought a new Sony Bravia 4k tv I've set it all up on the wall I switch my sky q box on and it's just a black screen but when I switch off the box the Home Screen momentarily appears on tv screen then disappears what do I do ???

try pessing the following keys in sequence

Home 1 0 8 0 Home

This resets the resolution

Once you have an image you can try changing settings on your TV so you can set to 4K

Sounds like my issue with my LG TV. Try turning OFF HDMI control and turn the TV on seperately.
