Black Screen Disney plus

Having issues trying to play some programmes on Disney plus. Rivals episode one plays trailers then screen goes black. If you fast forward a message states will play after intro but get spinning wheel. But episode  2 works straight away.Have logged in and out, have turned router and sky q box on and off. Have tried on phone app and it works, please advise.

Update has now started working after 2 days.

There was a variation on this issue talked about in this thread.

 

Have you tried an apps refresh in the hidden menu?

 

  1. To enter hidden menu press Home and navigate down to Settings, but do not select Settings
  2. With Settings highlighted press 0 0 1 Select on the remote (select is the center button on the directional keypad)
  3. Select Apps then highlight Refresh Apps on this box
  4. You'll see a message that says, 'Your apps are being refreshed'
  5. This message will stay on screen until you press Dismiss to return to normal viewing, but it’s recommended waiting at least 5 minutes before doing so

Note: Refreshing apps can take up to 24 hrs to complete.
