BBC World Cup listings

Although the programme guide on my Sky Q shows the games that ITV are showing from today on, none appear on the BBC channels even though I know they are showing games, for example the England game on Wednesday at 5.30 where the guide shows only Wimbledon. Has anyone else got this issue?

I suspect the schedule will be updated shortly now the matches are being finalised.  (After all they are still dynamic depending on the results)

Mines still showing Wimbledon, presumably it'll update.

Just a small point ~ the England game against DR Congo kicks off at 5pm BST not 5:30

I have  looked on the Freeview schedule and it shows  the same Wimbledon untill  6pm followed by news and local news and Wimbledon from 7pm. However the match is showing be shown  live on the BBC iplayer at 5pm. It  could also be shown on the red button. But difficult for bbc this week as wimbildon has started and they advertise showing that on BBC 1 and 2 every day of the fortnight from 10.30  till 8pm. So may be the England match will only be available on the iPlayer live . Don't know why if they were going to have difficulty showing it with there Wimbledon commitments they didn't let ITV show it.

But dose not say bbc1 or bbc2. It could just put on  the red button  and iPlayer, they would not on the Sky and tv guides. But we will see if the schedule are altered later.

The World Cup isn't going to be relegated to a red button feed. The schedule just hasn't been updated yet.

Can anyone tell me why Sky TV planner is not showing World Cup football on BBC?

It is currently sbhowing Wimbledon and I would like to record matches, but obvioulsy can noty select them as they are not there.

Because BBC and ITV share the rights for World Cup football

itv doesn't do Wimbledon 

Plus itvX is only HD where as iplayer does 4kUHD if it's not available via the app on Sky Q use the app on your smart tv

It's a BBC, rather than a Sky, issue. Even the BBC website isn't showing any scheduled games.

No as they'll be shown on iplayer hopefully in 4K England match Wednesday

If you have access to the BBC iPlayer all the completed matches that the BBC are due to show are on there and from what understand  will available to watch upp to 30 days after the completion of the match. We are using this service for the overnight match rather than recording them. It has worked rather well so far. The match tonight is shown to be available on there teen if not on BBC 1 as it advertised to. Not sure why 21,30 is not shown on the tv guide as Wimbildon is finished by then.
