As per when it’s windy

As per when it's windy, sky signal gone, none of my boxes are working but green lights are on..... maybe we will get some money knocked off our bills this time around for no service provided ... oh wait , mrs telling me off for chatting **bleep** again..

The signal may come back once the storm has passed. If not you'll need to book an engineer to check the dish alignment but I should imagine they'll be very busy.

No, because Sky is not responsible for ongoing preventative maintenance of your dish.  They will, however, fix it for you once it is reported to them, although as @Daniel0210 indicates they are likely to be somewhat busy.

Oh "as per when it's windy" is shorthand for "as per usual, when it's windy"?

 

I was scratching my head for a minute there. 

What's your dish mounted on? Ours seems to handle pretty strong winds without a problem.

Sky don't take note of posts on here. If you want to complain you have to do it via their complaints page. I suspect acts of god displacing televisual equipment might be a getout in the contract and compensation will not in fact be due but I don't know.
