Apps
Apps on sky q need updating as they are not up to date compared to tv apps which are faster and more smooth and don't buffer.only have issues on sky q and not tv apps.😎

It's always been better to use TV apps, particularly on more modern smart TVs and streaming devices. Sky Q is a satellite PVR first and foremost, not a streaming device. It is also limited by not being able to offer premium HDR formats such as HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, nor can it output native frame rates from streaming apps.
The apps won't be updated on Sky Q because they are limited by the power of the hardware. Sky Q is highly unlikely to be updated ever again as the satellite service is wound down in the next few years.
