Apple TV+ App On Sky Q Freezes After Skipping Trailer

Currently watching Shrinking on the Apple TV+ app on Sky Q. When I try skipping the trailer at the beginning of an episode, the playback freezes.

I can get around it by pressing fast forward immediately followed by pressing play, but the problem's there and needs a solution.
