App probiems

We have a Sky Q box in the living room and a mini box in an upstairs bedroom. Recently  a Sky technician came to sort out a Sky Q box connection problem. He fitted a booster box ( which now emulates a Sky router) and all was fine. I mentioned at the time that we were due for some scaffolding to be put up the side of the house and that this would take out the Sky dish for a while so we would ge relying on apps for BBC..ITV..etc He in turn mentioned in passing that getting the satellite TV channels back might be an issue once the scaffolding came down.  The scaffolding went up at the beginning of this week and all went OK until today. This morning I find  that I can access BBC Iplayer..YouTube ITV X   apps etc.  but once I get to watching a live or recorded programme the  circle just rotates on the screen and the programme doesn't appear. This is just with the  main box downstairs.  The mini box upstairs seems fine. At the same time the screen message on each Sky channel has changed to "This channel is no longer available ". As a side note.. The apps are still available on a laptop and phones with no problem but the Internet speeds have dropped slightly to about 14.5 - 16.2 mbps . We are supposed to get up to 20.59 maps from EE.  What's going on?

So the dish wasn't affected by the scaffolding in the end? Live TV carried on working initially after it went up?
