Another Discovery Plus Premium issue
Like many others, I can no longer get into Discovery Plus Premium. I subscribe to TNT and D+Premium through BT. When selecting the D+ app and highlighting the tennis match on Premium that i want to watch I get, like others have encountered, the QR code to sign in or the D+ address to go to. I reported this to BT who confirm that my D+ is 'activated' and my Sky account number is correct on their details. They suggest I speak to Sky. I have looked at my Sky account and it doesn't show anything about having TNT/D+Premium via BT, and that maybe just the way it should be. But what my Sky account does say is Discovery Plus Basic. I assume it says that because I'm not subscribing to TNT/D+ direct from Sky.
So could the issue be that Sky's D+Basic setting is preventing the D+Premium from BT from working?

@saxon+road If you have access to discovery+ Premium via BT and you just want to use the app on Sky Q, then all you should need to do is log in using the same details you registered with when you activated through BT.
People often get confused because they get discovery+ basic with their Sky subscription, activate that then wonder where the sport is or get into a never ending circle of doom using a mix of the wrong login details.
I'm watching it now via my EE subscription on Q.
When logged in correctly, it should say under Account > Subscriptions "Contact EE or BT to manage".
If it says "Sky" or anything else, sign out and double check you are using the correct login details. If you are trying to "activate" anything, then there is an error.

Not sure I follow your answer re using wrong sign in. I assume the D+ app that I select is only there because I have the subscription via BT/EE. On occasions when I have not used D+ for a while I have to reactivate my D+ account by signing in to D+ and inputting a 6 figure code that appears on my TV.
As this has been occupying most of my day I'm throwing in the towel until tomorrow!

The app is there for everyone, much like iPlayer or Prime Video, but you need to login to use it. If you don't use it regularly you get logged out and have to re-validate using a code, but that is the same on any device in my experience.

I think the confusion arises as follows;
Am seeing it also on my Sky Stream.
For over a year now, have used the free Sky Discovery +, activated for the D+ tile etc.
But, I have recently got another ( different email and account to above) D+ with TNT sports added.
That works great signed in on TV, Roku and phone/tablet.
But on Sky, having logged out of the above original D+ Sky free activated one, see the sign in box on the tile below the Sky 'Get discovery+'
On clicking on that sign in it then brings up the qr code on left and activate your device on right.
But, I do not want to activate this time, I just want to sign in with my other non Sky D+.
Cannot get passed that page, so will just have to forego using my non Sky D+ on Sky (only have it subbed for a month for Tennis and Le Mans) and just use it on other devices.
Sky Stream with two pucks (Former Sky Q and Sky+ customer), Sky Ultrafast + using Sky SR203 hub. Sky Protect kit tester.

Thank you for your answer to my issue. My wife wondered if she also had an D+ account that we had forgotten about. After she signed in and having to go through 'forgotten PW' routine, it showed that her account was through EE. In my account on the app on the TV did not have this information. So you were spot on with your suggestion.
I logged out of my account so my wife could go through the logging on procedure, entering the 6 figure code displayed on the TV.
So tonight we finally got to see some tennis rather than the inane chatting that they dish out under Discovery Plus Basic. Thak you again.

Fixed this.
When that qr code page sticks, after your other device says successfully linked, you have to restart the Sky box.
A settings restart for Sky Stream/Glass and for Sky Q power restart and broadband router restart wakes it up and next time you start the D+, your are signed in again.
