An explosive sound followed by nothing on the screen
I need to get my t.v. working.
Sky say they had a problem.
The help line gave a few instruction which I am unable to follow.

The help line gave a few instruction which I am unable to follow. As customers we have no idea what you've been told by customer service staff so you're going to have to explain fully what happened and what steps you were given, and why you can't follow those steps.

The recorded message about the problem on the sky helpline is old unrelated news.
