Amazon app so poor

Can anyone explain why the Amazon app is by far and away the worst through Sky?

It's literally the only app we have issues with, constant buffering and blurring of the picture.

This is with ultra high speed BB and a wired connection from the Q box to the router.

I'm seriously thinking of ditching Amazon because of this, I cannot be bothered going to another source (stick) just for this channel.

No, as we're other customers here...

 

From the forum, most issues tend to be with NetFlix - Amazon is rarely mentioned as an issue.

 

Try rebooting your box and seeing if works better afresh.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

I've always found Amazon to perform poorly on Sky Q (V2 box) and doubt it will be get any better as the Sky Q hardware gets older and even more outdated.  In contrast Netflix  seems to be the fastest and best performing app.

@burnebabybyrne @xenon81  Never have a problem with the Amazon app, but if you are (and have a smartTV, why not use its app?

I am just another Sky customer!
