4k hdmi cable length

My new 4K telly placement means its a bit farther from the SKY Q box than before. The standard issue HDMI pink cable doesn't reach. Is there a longer SKY recommended HDMI cable, or would any 4K HDMI be okay. I know sometimes SKY is a bit precious about what cables are ok and what aren't. Thanks.

Any 'High Speed' HDMI cable should be OK for UHD up to around three metres (Amazon Basics for under £10 are just fine) and up to five metres may be possible depending on the local EMF environment.  Beyond that you're probably looking at active HDMI technology: don't be fooled by the stupidly priced 'premium' passive cables as these have exactly the same fundamental physical limitations no matter what flavor of snake-oil the sales blurb applies.

Sky Glass 55" (on ethernet) & two Stream Pucks (one ethernet / one WiFi)
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2
