2 sky q voice remotes

Hi there can you use 2 skyq voice remotes with a mini box please.

Yes, but, only one can have voice control.

First set up one (to be used as with no voice control) and then hold down 4 & 6 to turn off the remote Bluetooth.

Then set up the second one (to be used with voice control) as normal.

Thanks for helping.  So I need one older type remote that doesn't have the blue voice button?  Set it up then hold down 4 and 6 on that one facing at the box?  Then other voice one that is already set up will continue to work or have I got to re set that one again please so confused 🤔

Thanks so then that remote will continue to work as normal to change channels and volume but you can't use the voice in that one have I got that right please but voice ok on the other one.  Which one do I do first

Hi @Sophielegs.

Complete procedure below.

The only way you can use two remotes is using one of them in infrared mode.
If you want to use TV volume on both remotes proceed as follows.
Set the first remote as normal by pairing as follows
Make sure that you are pointing your remote at the Q box and press 1 & 3 together until the remote led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.
Check that it works the TV.
Then press and hold 4 & 6 together until the remote led flashes. This will disconnect the Bluetooth so that the remote will control the Q box by infrared and TV volume by infrared. There will be no Voice control on this remote.
Then on the second remote completely reset the Bluetooth remote.
Press and hold 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the Q box and press 1 & 3 together until the remote led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.

This will work the Q box by Blutooth and the TV by infrared. You will have voice control on this remote.

Hi old fella hope your ok.  Lovely I'll keep these instructions very detailed as usual   sky said you CANT work 2  remotes of any type on a box!

Note that this isn't 'turning off voice': it's removing the Bluetooth pairing which is what permits the Voice Control to work, and using infrared only instead.
