Just had an engineer out as our picture had been breaking up in recent weeks. Dish needed realigning and a new LNB. Done in 5 minutes!
As he was leaving he mentioned something about giving me 2 months of Sky Cinema for free, and sure enough I've now had an email to confirm this. Is this something that customers are currently getting after an engineer visit?
What's not clear is whether this will convert to a paid subscription if I don't cancel before the end of the 2 months. Does anyone have experience of this particular "offer" ?

It will most likely convert to a paid subscription if you don't cancel it. Check your account online carefully.
I suspect Sky engineers have been advised to make this "offer" to customers in the hope that many will forget to cancel and Sky end up making a bit of money out of it.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out morePrevious posts on here suggest it will revert to payments after the two months if no action is taken. To cancel it (if you don't want to keep it that is) you'll need to contact Sky and give 31 days notice.
