door chime
good evening.
iv just finished setting up my video door bell and chime all has gone as it should. I wanted to know if I was able to remove the chime from the Internet cable so I could put it in my hallway and would it still work as it should have.
best wishes nikki881

Re: door chime
Unfortunately the chime does require an ethernet cable: it's not equipped for WiFi.
You could consider purchasing a longer Cat5e cable to relocate it.

Re: door chime
@nikki881 You have to keep it connected to the hardwire to the router. But if you have a good internet connection and the chime and doorbell are close you should get a good signal.
