Cant get solid blue light on chime to move to next step

I have just got my sky protect pack ans connecting the bell and chime.   When i plug in the chime it goes from orange to flashing blue but after connecting ethenet its not going solid blue .   Help?

Yes, you do need to get the Chime to a blue stable light first, before trying any sync with the doorbell.
Would suggest going into the Sky Protect app, select the video doorbell, click on  the gear button top right and scroll down to Connected to - Chime

Click on 'reboot device'.
It takes a short while to do this, maybe a good ten minutes or so.
The Chime will flash on and off. 

 

If after sometime it has still not reconnected the Chime to your router with a stable blue light, try the following;

Remove the ethernet and power cable from the Chime and leave off for at least ten minutes.

During this time, reboot your broadband router

Plug the ethernet and power cables back into the Chime and allow it to connect again.
