Smart doorbell

Hello, I recently got the smart doorbell, but the activity zones dont work, I keep getting and error message saying something went wrong. Reported to sky and they sent a new device, and the same thing happened again. Any ideas anyone? Maybe its a bug in the app??

Firstly, what kind of error message are you getting, when using activity zones and at what stage are you getting that message?

Assume you have tried rebooting your phone that the app is on?

I recently got one. Same errorWhen clicking 'done'. Tried all sorts. Different sized zones, rebooting phone and hardware etc. The fault is with them. Subscribe needs to pull their finger out

I have had my sky protect doorbell for over a year with no issues, since changing to smart home it won't charge and has a clicking sound. I have uninstalled it and went through the process of re installing the device and it worked for two days and stopped working

Can you  try turning the video doorbell off using the on/off switch at the back, next to the charging usb port.

Leave it off for ten minutes, no need for any longer than that.

Turn back on and straight away put  on charge, leaving on charge for about 6-8hours or overnight.
