Smart doorbell won't pair with chime

I connected my chime and doorbell to the smart home app but then my doorbell needed charging and when taking it off charge I accidentally pressed the sync button on the doorbell and now it won't pair with my chime I am up 2 step that says press sync on chine and hold sync on doorbell untill you hear "your doorbell is pairing, it won't take long" but my doorbell won't say that it just stays orange. I have tried to contact the team through chat since Friday but keep getting noone is available

@Lucy0710  Did you totally take the chime and doorbell from the app. Then try to re-install them from scratch?

@Lucy0710  I know that myself that when I did this it did take a number of attempts to get it to re-sync, but it does it in the end.

You could also try turning off the doorbell for ten minutes, no more than that, using the switch at the back of the doorbell.

That often helps with doorbell connection issues.
