Ipad 7 Sky Protect

If I have an ipad 7 that is covered with my Sky Protect insurance plan  can I get a new ipad?  As iPad 7 cannot update to the latest iOS version, the latest iOS version is 26.5 but iPad will no longer update beyond iOS version 18

While this forum cannot provide specific claims advice, I'd suggest that hardware becoming obsolete (the iPad 7 is from 2019) would not be covered by any insurance policy because technology obsolescence is ultimately inevitable, and insurers really don't like that.
