Charging doorbell

How do you remove the doorbell to charge it? 
I put the pin in the bottom of it but it still won't come out

If you press the pin in and pull the doorbell from the bottom at the same time it should come out.

Yeah my one needed a really good 'tug' from the bottom, and now it pulls on and off without the need for any tool.
