voicemail symbol/ notification

I have stopped receiving the voicemail symbol when someone leaves me a new voice message so now have no idea when i have one or more to lisen to. No notification at all. I always had a symbol and notification informing me so i know but for some odd reason now not getting that anymore, please help and advise?

Hi @b4u2  there have been a few reports involving voicemail notifications lately, mostly that they can't be deleted. You could try turning off voicemail then restart your phone then turn it back on to see if that helps. 

Voicemail can’t be switched off completely. But, to stop people leaving you voicemail messages, turn message recording mode off.
On your phone:
Dial 759.
Press 3.
Press 5.
Press 1.

Switched off and on again but the problem is I'm not getting notified of new voicemails.

What should I do?

Have you tried leaving yourself a voicemail @b4u2 to see if you get a notification ?

To try and get you some help I have escalated your post to the Sky Community Messaging Team.

Look out for a post on this thread from one of the team inviting you to a private chat and then you should see a coloured speech bubble at the bottom of your forum page. You’ll have 48 hours to click on it and start the private chat or it will close automatically. If you fail to respond to a chat reply within 48 hours the chat will again close down automatically even if your issue hasn’t been resolved. Replies from Sky aren’t instant so you’ll need to check the chat thread periodically.
