sky bill update

so ive been paying my phone bill on the 4th of every month but wantes to change it to the 2nd as it gets that payment out of the way sooner, but now its saying ill be charged end of june-end of july and will be £56 odd when my bill is only £30 and im super confused and cannot afford to be paying that much??

I believe what's happening is that the charge on the 4th won't be collected and then a pro-rata amount (virtually 2 bills) will be collected on the 2nd of the following month.

 

i.e. you'lll skip a bill but will pay double on the next one.

 

But you may wish to call Sky or keep an eye on billing.
