sim activation

ive just recived my new phone and new sim contract. 

im currently still paying off old contract from a broken phone but ive realised i can o

put my old sim into the new phone. So i dont want the new sim contract with sky. 

if i dont activate the sim will it just cancelled or will i get charged? 

ive read you dont pay for your contract till you activate the sim so if i dont activate it will they just automatically take the monthly payments for just the phone?

Hi @Racheal96  if you don't activate the new sim then it will drop off your account and you won't be charged.
