setting up my new sim

i have set up my new sim followe the steps to link my account 

tells me all completed turned my phone on and off but when making calls coming  up with mobile network isnt available connect to wireless network

Have you activated the Sky sim and if you have are you transfering a number from a different network to Sky or are you going to use the one on the Sky sim ?
