returned new phone no updates yet

Hi I ordered a new pixle which came last week I then changed my mind, called customer support who sorted the return out for me as I was still within the 30 days. I can see on the postal tracking it is showing as the return being delivered on the Post office tracking site. I sent it in the return package which sky sent me.

But checking my account I can see I am still due to be billed next week for this handset which I no longer have as its back with Sky and no other information has been recieved. Is there something else I need to do ? im worried that the contract wont be cancelled and i continue to be billed ? thanks D.

Returned phones can take anything up to a month to be processed so you might well be billed for it but once this has happened and it has been inspected any over payment should be refunded within a few weeks.

so I dont need to contact them again ? I thought I would at least get an email or message telling me they have the handset back . Thanks

You shouldn't need to contact them again as you might find in the order tracking section of your account once it has been inspected it will then update to show it has been returned.
