"No SIM" error after successful online activation

Hi,

I've successfully activated my SIM card online, but once I inserted it into my phone, my phone showed "No SIM". It's been two hours and still no change. My phone worked perfectly with my old SIM card. I've restarted my phone, taken out the SIM and inserted it again, and completed phone updates so far but nothing worked. Thanks for your help!

Because it is from a different network provider from a different country and I need to switch to a new Irish number. My phone is unlocked for all carriers so that's also not the issue.

Does it show on your account that it has been activated or does it say it is still in progress ?

It says activated in green and I was prompted to insert it into my phone / alerted it was ready to use around 2 hours ago.

How have you confirmed the phone is unlocked @elena22  ? Do you have another network sim that you know works you can try in your phone ?

Yes I have confirmed it is unlocked and it worked perfectly with my old sim card which I used until 2 hours ago when I wanted to change it to the sky sim card

Are you able to try the Sky sim in another unlocked phone to see what happens ?
