old sim to esim transfer

Hi,

I tried to activate my esim on my new device from an old sim on old device. 

The app kept getting errors and in the end I ended up with no sim. As my old sim stopped working and the new Sim is not active. I can't receive security message when I try to repeat the process because my old sim stopped working. Please help

I need help with this same issue. Rang sky and they said as I couldn't receive texts they couldn't send me the activation code and I will have to wait for a physical sim to be sent. I can't be without a phone. Is there not a way around this?
