mobile service didnt transfer

When transferring to an iphone15 from a Samsung everything transfered apart from the mobile service and phone number. I cannot find a QR code to scan to enable, and all other options have failed.

Are you using a physical sim if so did you move it to your new phone ?

I didn`t move the physical SIM as it`s too big. I assumed eSIM capabilties, perhaps wrongly?
