There is a chance that the person who rang you wasn't from Sky but the scammer, if it was from Sky they would have asked for your telephone password so did they ask you for this ?

Hi @Liverpool_fc  the next part of the scam involves you receiving the phones then a courier arriving the next day to collect them. Do not give to that person. Look here for what to do.

Re: iPhone scam beware

I seem to be in the same boat,   It's all on my sky account. They charged £12 for an iPhone as opposed to sending me a box I needed. Everyone I talk too is maybe from Asia  they speak very fast  first of all a girl call Nancy, then Malcolm  then a manager (Taha)   I was trying to reduce my bill  I have lots of emails from sky , same address and all looks correct   So what is going on please someone  needs to help can't get through to a customer services department . Apparently they are coming to pick up the iPhone  tomorrow that was sent in error . Many thanks. Not sure what is going on ..

That's a scam!

Do not hand the device over, even to a legitimate courier or Royal Mail representative.

You've been talking to criminals who have used your account to place an order with Sky Mobile: 'sent in error' is absolutely characteristic of this.

Re: iPhone scam beware

Sorry it's not clear someone has hacked into my account order a iPhone  which they now tell me was in error !  They are now sending someone to pick it up  I just need to seal it and Royal Mail will pick it up. Therefore I believe they get the iPhone I get the bill . Trying to get hold of sky is impossible  to say the least .  What do I need to do obviously not  give the iPhone to them but how to I return it to sky and get hold of sky .help

You need to call Sky to start the return process of and if you haven't already you need to change the password on your account and make sure you other details like your email address has not been changed.
