Hi I'm looking to take out a new contract for iPhone alongside my contract for Christmas for my daughter but obviously it won't be set up till Christmas Day .. what way does this work?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreHi @Nathan51 you order the phone (and sim if needed) that you want. If it's in stock it will be delivered and your billing starts once you receive it. You have 31 days to activate the sim or you would need to order a new one.

You can order the device at any time.
It's the dataplan that's time-limited. Upon receiving the SIM you have 31 days to activate it before it falls off the account. You need to work out the timing accordingly... Worst case is you order a new dataplan nearer the time.
