Hi,
i've got an iPhone 15 pro max on the way. In my confirmation email it stated -
'Please note that eSIM only devices require an eSIM to connect to a network and are not compatible with a SIM card'
I was under the impression the iPhone 15 had a physical sim slot as well as offering eSim so I could just transfer my sim from this phone to the 15 and it would work but that part in the email is making me think I need an eSIM? Is anyone able to clarify this for me. Thanks.

I'd think that's generic wording, and coincidental to the iPhone 15 model released in the USA (only) not having a physical SIM capability.
