iPad water damage

I have A iPad 10 gen and I'm having trouble charging it I think it might be water damage is it still under warranty?

From Skys own help page is

"Physical damage, including accidental damage (like a cracked screen or liquid damage etc.) isn't covered by your warranty. You might be charged for any repairs and won’t be eligible for a replacement."

Hi @Sian46  not if it's water damage no. Water damage voids any warranty. With Apple you only get 12 month warranty normally on their devices. Consumer law says it should be more but it becomes an issue proving any faults passed 12 months.

'damage' almost always implies an insurance claim, not a warranty issue.

 

A warranty is a declaration by the manufacturer that their hardware is of high enough quality that it can keep working for the declared time in 'normal' use, and Apple does not identify current iPad models as being water resistant to any level.
