iPad help

I have an iPad 2022 that I'm still paying off through sky with the sim option. Unfortunately this has become fault and is now out of warranty for repair as it's nearly paid off completely. I've just ordered the 2025 iPad and want to transfer sim etc onto new one. Can this be done or will I have to order a new eSIM to activate.

Do you have an actual physical sim with the 2022 iPad and does the 2025 model also take a physical sim because if it does you can just move it between them.

I don't think so. I just ordered the iPad 2022 from sky and got an eSIM I think at the same time. I didn't put an actual sim into it. Today I ordered the 2025 model through sky but didn't click the option for a sim as I just want to swap everything over to the new one

I'm not sure if you can convert a physical sim from a devcie that doesn't have an esim but have a look at these links:

If not your only option is to order a esim for the new iPad and cancel the other one.

Thank you for your help. I'll wait for the new one to arrive and see what I need to do but thank you for pointing me in the right direction
